First, GO TERPS! I can't say enough how proud I am of the Maryland Men's Basketball Team, and the amazing season they had this year! I am so proud of my alma mater, and can't wait to watch the Women take on Princeton. What a fantastic start to the Big Ten! M-A-R-Y-L-A-N-D
As many of you know, especially if you follow me on social media, I have been working hard to get my next novel, Phoenix Morrow, ready for public consumption. I can't wait for you all to read it, love it, hate it, laugh, cry, and tell a friend. Watching all of my amazing readers react to my writing makes my heart sing in a way that is hard to describe. However, actually getting it all finished has been an uphill battle, including some times when that incline has felt more like scaling a cliff covered in thorn bushes with one hand tied behind my back.
To put it bluntly, life keeps getting in the way.
My family and I are in the process of moving, something that is exciting yet daunting, not to mention immensely time consuming. After a very busy weekend of cleaning, showings (five of them since Friday), and baking cookies for what thankfully turned out to be a very busy Open House, I was looking forward to getting some laundry done and working on my final edit some more today. Lo and behold, however, my phone chimed not long ago to schedule another showing in a couple of hours. Thankfully I can at least toss a load or two of laundry in by then, and make sure the beds are made.
The book is coming, everyone. I promise. No one wants it out there for you guys more than I do. Please be patient.
Also, please pray that one of the gazillion people who have been through my house actually wants the blasted thing.
You can always find me on Facebook and Twitter. All posts are done by me, and I love to hear from you!
